Windows on the Water at Frogbridge Wedding – Gina & Steve

It is hard to put in words how amazing it is to work with Gina & Steve. I always have a great time being around them. Steve is a great guy and proposed to Gina at Union Square Park in New York City. We had an incredible GTKY session at a private airport hangar and after it I was even more amped for their wedding.

We started off the day at Gina’s parents house and then it was off to the church. They had a Greek Orthodox ceremony at St. George Church in Hamilton, NJ. Steve’s brother, the best man, started cracking everyone up when his cell started vibrating like crazy during the ceremony. The reception was located at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge in Millstown, NJ. The staff there was excellent to work with and they used photographs of mine in several of the magazine ads. Windows on the water in Frogbridge are known for having a blue lake that is meant to keep the mosquitos away. It is a very cool location. The grounds there are great and they even have a mini golf course on the property that is really fun to shoot at. The reception was very fun and I was not prepared for some of the traditional Greek dancing ;) I had a great day with them and look forward to seeing them in the future.

Windows on the Water at Frogbridge, Millstown, NJ

Windows on the Water at Frogbridge sits on the edge of a lake in Burlington County, and the venue keeps a specific type of fish in the water specifically because it reduces mosquitos, a practical detail that changes how outdoor ceremony and cocktail hours actually feel in the summer. The reception room is window-lined on the water side, so the lake is always in frame. There’s also a mini golf course on the property, which works better as a portrait location than most photographers expect. For a Greek Orthodox wedding with big family energy, the combination of the outdoor grounds and the water-facing reception room gave plenty of space for the traditional dancing that usually needs room to breathe.
