It turned out to be a beautiful day for Katie and Phil. They met during college at Monmouth University, so it was the obvious location for their GTKY session. Katie and Phil are very cool people with a classic, vintage style about them.  Phil loves James Dean, so I studied some of the iconic portraits of the actor and we took some shots of Phil in the same fashion. We hurried to the beach to finish our session.  Phil broke out some acoustic guitar, which he is rather awesome at.  This couple will be getting married this fall at The Merion in Cinnaminson.

A little James Dean action…

I met Zachary at Janette & John’s wedding last July 4th.  Zach was the best man and gave one of the most amazing toasts I have ever heard.  It was like a clean version of a Comedy Central roast that was extremely funny.  He contacted me about a month ago telling me his plan to propose to Alison and we setup a date, time and location for this covert operation  On the day Zach texted me and let me know he is ready and it was go time!  When they arrived we pretended be doing a private model shoot so that she would not be suspicious.  I even set a stone out where I wanted him to stand, so that we would be ready.  He was very nervous on the day as most of us are waiting all day and our lives for that one moment.   After he proposed and she said yes and we came out to congratulate them.  Zach and Alison had a short shooting session afterward and right now they are planning their wedding for early 2011.  We will most certainly be seeing more of this awesome couple…
