Wedding of Lorie & Josh – Scotland Run – Williamstown, NJ

Lorie and Josh are a sweet couple. They had their GTKY session in Ocean City, NJ. The Yankee Candle Company actually got a license from me to use their image on their candle labels. It would be hot to walk into Bed Bath and Beyond and see one of the sections of candles with an image of Lorie and Josh on them. It was a beautiful day for them! Their ceremony took place at the Nativity B.V.M. Church in Philadelphia. The reception was held at Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamstown, NJ. I was happy because we got to ride on some golf carts again! The James Gerard Orchestra provided the entertainment and did not seem to take a break all night. My main man Kenneth Stillman Video was there to capture the day with me. Her album is already in production!!!! Thanks for the awesome day Lorie and Josh…

Josh brought his Harley up the night before so that we can use it when we created their images.

The specks that you see behind the party in the sky are parachutes. Their is a skydive facility behind the golf course.

When I first met Cindy and Dan I was amped to hear they were having their wedding at The Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia. It is such an amazingly cool place to create! The groomsmen got ready at the Hyatt right next door. Cindy prepared and got dressed backstage at the Seaport Museum. After Cindy and Dan had their first meeting overlooking the Ben Franklin Bridge we shot down on the waterfront and through the ships. Cindy is pretty hardcore when we were going up one of the ship ramps she couldn’t walk on their because of her heels and she suggested taking them off and walking on the metal spiked walkway. We worked it out and created some beautiful imagery and the lighting was gorgeous there. The ketubah signing took place on the stage in the Seaport Museum and was amazing as we turned on the stage spotlights to light the scene. Outside above the museum they had their ceremony overlooking the Delaware River and Ben Franklin Bridge. The night was awesome and The Fabulous Greaseband provided the entertainment. One of my favorite brochachos Andy from Stomping Bread Productions was their videographer.

They had their first meet on the top deck.

I really love Kelli and Ian. From the moment we met, I knew they were 100% pure awesomeness. They are a ton of fun and I had been looking forward to their wedding for a long time. (On a side note, Ian is one of the most ingenious Facebook posters there is—he always has something funny to share.) Everyone got ready at the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia. This hotel is beautiful and perfect for weddings at The Down Town Club. They had a trolley take the bridal party and parents over to the ceremony at St. John the Evangelist. The ceremony was beautiful and you can see the love they have at the little glances Kelli and Ian would give each other all day. The bride’s dress from Jennifer’s Bridal was gorgeous, and I had a great time shooting the couple in Independence Park. Urban Guerrilla Orchestra provided the entertainment at the reception in The Down Town Club. Overall it was an awesome day and an awesome couple, not to mention a great set of family and friends. Best wishes for their future together.

Ian loves his gold Elvis style shades that he rocked all day.

The bridal party was off the hook and there was no holding back with these guys.

We saw the Philly Duck Tour bus several times and the bridal party would start to chant out loud QUAC,K QUACK, QUACK at the top of their lungs.

Like the bridal party, Kelli and Ian had awesome college friends.

Destination Wedding of Jill & Ryan – Excellence Resort – Playa Mujeres, Mexico

Jill & Ryan’s wedding in Mexico was amazing… We did a total of four separate shoots in two and a half days there. The Getting to Know You Session from their weekend will also be posted on my site in the next few weeks. All shoots and events took place at Excellence Resort in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. It is an adult all inclusive resort and it has everything you would ever want right there. They even have hammocks in the pool next to the beach. I did not want to leave! We were very busy though, did not even have time to jump in the ocean, which was like a few hundred feet from the rooms. The bridal party and family were just excellent. It’s cool when you get to know people then get to fly travel with some of them back home. Overall it was a great experience and there was so much to shoot there we could have kept photographing for another entire week….

This was just to the right of where the ceremony takes place. I just love the abstractness and order mixed with the chaos of the foliage.

You never see bridesmaids having to walk over Iquanas in the states…

The brides sister was very emotional during the start of the ceremony.

Mariachi bands are always such hams for the camera.

The resort had amazing scultptures all over the grounds and had amazing lighting at night.

Cocktail hour on the beach….

I make friends no matter where I am at… If I worked there I would not require a fishnet on my head for obvious reasons…

David Beckstead Workshop – NEIPP – Cape Cod, MA

I spent a week with David Beckstead up at the NEIPP workshop in Cape Cod, MA. Workshops are awesome when you have an amazing photographer hosting them. David is very outside the box and loves unique composition. He also has a pretty badass mustache! Below are some images that were created during the workshop. No professional models were used in this shoot and no amateur models were injured during the shoots

I had an awesome time with Maria & Chris from the very start. The start of the nor’easter was hitting NJ on their wedding day, but held out just enough for us to create some images outdoors. The bridal party was excellent and everyone was exactly on time. They had a mannequin body to put her dress on, but the mannequin’s big booty was too big for the bride’s dress. It was a funny joke for the first ten minutes we got there. Andrew from Stomping Bread Productions was there to capture the day on video. He is always super easy to work with and fun throughout the day. The ceremony was held at St. Dorothea’s in Eatontown. After the ceremony we went to Monmouth University’s campus to create their images. We then were off to Addison Park for the reception. Addison is really beautiful inside and had really cool black/white marble flooring throughout. The Jason Craig Band provided the entertainment and kept it cranking until 12am!

The brides sisters were very emotional during the father/daughter dance.
