About the studio

Boutique wedding photography for outdoor weddings, the Jersey Shore, and Philadelphia.

Hi, I’m Jordan. Jordan Brian Studios is a small team built around one idea: be calm in the room, honest in the gallery, and quietly everywhere when something real is happening. Most of our weddings happen outside, in backyards and gardens across South Jersey, on the sand at the Jersey Shore, and on Philadelphia rooftops and ballrooms. A second photographer is on every wedding alongside me. A videographer joins when couples add cinema coverage, and our in-house designer builds every album.

Shooting outdoor weddings across NJ and Philadelphia since 2005.

I went to Rutgers for fine arts, picked up a camera in 2005, shot my first wedding the same year, and never really stopped. Five hundred-plus weddings later, the work that holds up is the work that doesn’t try to look clever. Faces. Light. Real moments people will want to remember when the day is far behind them. Most of those weddings have happened outside, on the sand at the Shore, or on a rooftop in Philadelphia, and that’s where the studio still does its best work. See the wedding portfolio.

“He doesn’t say things like ‘now do something silly.’ Instead, he gets to know the wedding party and makes jokes so the silliness happens on its own. His photos feel genuine, natural, and unique to the wedding.”

Why couples book us to capture their outdoor and beach weddings.

That line up there, the “friend we already had” one, is the thing we hear most. Calm in the room, low-effort to be around, and somehow always in the right place when something real is happening. None of that is an accident. Outdoor weddings move on weather, light, and timing nobody controls. Reading the room without making people perform for you is how you get the pictures couples actually want, the ones they’ll still love in twenty years. Recent outdoor weddings on the journal.

How a boutique studio runs a day.

I’m the lead photographer at pretty much every wedding the studio takes. Not a brand name with rotating shooters, not a junior you meet on the day, not a stranger walking in the morning of. Every wedding collection includes a second photographer alongside me on the day, so the back of the aisle and the dance floor never trade places. Couples who want film alongside the stills add cinema coverage, and our in-house designer builds every album that leaves here.

The rest of the studio

Who else is on the day, when it calls for it.

Christopher is with me at every wedding. Sophia designs every album the studio sends out. Courtnee films your day when you add cinema coverage.

Courtnee

Videographer

Films wedding days the way the studio shoots stills. Quiet on the day, no posed video, no second crew of strangers in the room.

A look behind the camera

What a wedding day actually feels like.

Two minutes of behind-the-scenes from real outdoor weddings, beach days, and Philadelphia receptions.

Outside the camera

What I’m doing when I’m not shooting your wedding.

Family first. My wife. My daughter Sophia, who plays basketball constantly. My son, also basketball, also constantly. I’m at half their games and most of their practices, and that’s the part of life I protect hardest.

Past that, I’m on the water as much as I can be. Boat on the Sassafras River in Maryland in the summer. Wakeboarding when the lake is glass. Surfing when the Shore lines up. Long beach walks with the dog. Gym in the morning, matcha instead of coffee.

I mention all this because the couples we click with most tend to be the ones who get it. People who like being out, who plan their wedding around real moments, not a shot list. Outdoor weddings, beach ceremonies, Philadelphia rooftops at sunset. If any of that sounds like you, we’re probably a good fit.
