Jen and Norm had a beautiful day for their wedding.  This was a special wedding because I knew most of the bridal party and their friends from High School.   It was also special because everything took place in Long Beach Island, NJ, which is one of my favorite shore points.  They all got ready at the Drifting Sands Resort in the morning.  Drifting Sands had gorgeous ocean views from all the suites.  Less than a mile down the road they had their ceremony at Grace Calvary Church in Ship Bottom.  After a little time on the beach with the bridal party we headed over to cocktail hour at The Stateroom. 

Jen’s sister Carly was really fun and helped her sister out all day. She also loves taking old school Polaroids!

Michelle, Virgil, and I have a song together–we rock out to “Making Plans for Nigel” by XTC. The first time we met we were joking around about this song, so I had to start calling Virgil by the nickname Nigel. They had their Getting to Know You session at the Point Pleasant Boardwalk last summer, which you can watch on my site here. It was another gorgeous day for their wedding. The ceremony was held at St. Anthony’s in Hamilton, NJ. Afterwards, we went to Sayen Gardens for some photographs, which is also in Hamilton. Their reception was held at The South Gate Manor in Freehold. This is a beautiful site, and they have been doing major renovations to their cocktail room and outdoor patio. It is stunning! Denise from Absolute Media Productions was the videographer who captured the event with me. She was unobtrusive and very fun to work with. I cannot wait to hang out with Michelle and Virgil (Nigel) again.

The limo accidentally backed into the curb while taking the groomsmen to the church. Despite the flat tire, everyone was super cool, so it was not a big deal and they were ready to roll once the ceremony ended.

Meet their pooch Bosley. It is not named after the leader of Charlie’s Angels. They actually got Bosley’s name from Bosley Hair Restoration Clinic. Pure genius!
